tapley: Israel is like the abused child becoming an abusive parent. We are, and should be, a strong supporter of Israel but, we should also let them know when they are wrong. They are wrong in how they subjugate the Palestinians and they are wrong in how they have over used force in retaliation for what is clearly an Hamas provocation.
Israel for some reason is hell bent on WAR! Well I hope they get what they want. Because this is the kind of thing that will only INCREASE the spread Terrorism! Hamas will see it Ranks increase. Al Queda will see its Ranks increase. Hezbullah will see it ranks increase. Every Major Terror Organization will on grow due to these Terror Acts by Israel. Terror on brings about more Terror! I’m sorry but i disagree. If you read on the subject of the middle east you gain an appreciation for the difference in culture. While you may see Israel’s reactions to provocation as extreme its viewed quite differently in the middle east. Israel has made it clear that anyone who attempts to disrupt the lives of its citizens will be dealt with swiftly and aggressively. If you actually believe that the terror organizations would be weaker if Israel didn’t respond to attacks with aggressive behavior than your simply fooling yourself. The surrounding middle eastern countries all hate Israel and have vowed to push its population into the sea. I suggest you read “From Beirut to Jerusalem” it will help complete your understanding of the middle eastern culture and may help you find reason in the actions of Israel.
